Hope the hubby feels better, pass them stones. I had a friend who was totally insane, when she passed her stones, her son took them into class for SHOW & TELL

No electricity is awful. We didn't have it for about a month at my house after Ike. I of course was NOT here to witness all that happiness. I'm not a happy camper with no juice. No juice! LOL

Well, here it is Sunday morning and still no idiots. Good morning Tanya and anyone else who would like to grace us with their presence. Going to new meeting with sponsor this morning then AA picnic this afternoon. Have a nice day. I'll check in later.

Except for some isolated thunderstorms it should be a lovely day here. Can't decide if I should plant my tomatoes or go to the spring to get water. Maybe I'll do both: plant the tomatoes now and go to the spring later on today. Before I plant the tomatoes I've got to dig up all the strawberry plants that have spread all over but never produce any fruit.

The grass seed I planted after mother's day is coming up nicely. I felt so ambitious I got some more seed and planted it in some more bare spots. Now if I could just get the kids to stop walking on it!!! My second round of grass seed won't be up til late next week.

Inbetween all this planting and water-fetching I've got to go over to pk's and visit with her and new baby boy. So far he's been perfect: only cries when he's hungry and sleeps well all other times. I hope he's a "good" baby and doesn't wear her out with colic-y crying all the time like my first three did.


Bottoms isn't dying, it's just in stasis for a while. Suspended animation, sort of...

My tomato planting is all done. All those stupid strawberry plants are gone and the tomatoes are planted and watered. Cleaned up the yard a bit too. Pk called me while I was in the garden. I told her I was going to meet mom and bro at our favorite restaurant before noon for our regular Sunday lunch. Pk said "boy I wish I could go too". I said, "you CAN go, just wear a nursing bra and nursing shirt and feed him good before you go. Bring a little blankie along in case he wants to nurse while we're having lunch. Just because he's so new doesn't mean you have to stay home all the time. We'll just ask to be seated in the 'screaming baby' section instead of our regular 'non-screaming' section.":rotfxko

So into the shower I go and then to pick her and baby up. I've got the car seat base in my van so can take them anywhere. (the base is installed in between the dogs' seat restraints in the back seat, so when he's older the dogs can keep him company):ghug


The overwhelming depression seems to have gone away for now so am enjoying feeling human again, instead of a crying machine...
