Good day at work, and good meeting tonight. I have a stye in my eye from (I think) using an old mascara yesterday. I bought some ointment and just put some on. It's swollen and hurts when I blink.
I had been feeling restless, irritable and discontent these past days and weeks but it seems to be lifting. I'm grateful for this.
Can't wait to hear your progress on the Wii Fit, Stoney. Yeah, just wait until you see your avatar! Chunky monkey, indeed!

Stoney-that necklace?Get it appraised before you sell it.They're a dime a dozen here....and it may not be worth what you think it is.I'd hate you to be disappointed that's all.Just warning ya!
Loved the photo of Daisy!Again I say-you could do something with this-truly.I'd love you to take pics of Merlin!Bummer you're so far away really.
I've been pretty busy-business has picked up which is great.For a while there I was thinking of closing it and going to get a part time job somewhere.The recession has hit all of us really-even down here in New Zealand.It's been a struggle lately.
I just saw someone posted about Arura in the Gratitude thread?I miss her.Stoney-do you still hear from her?You guys seemed close and I know she lived somewhere near you.Do you still keep in touch? I get sad when people disappear and just thought about her the other day.
Anyway....Tanya-I'm so sorry about your friend.I'm thinking of you.

As for the chain, I know how much it cost to buy new, I didn't just find it in the street ya know.

Am watching the neighbor's kid today (no school) and even will bring their dogs over later on for a little dog party. These are the neighbors who bring me homemade chicken soup!:ghug

The prodigy just called while I was in the shower wanting a ride home from school... after school. I said I guess but why? She claims I said I would since I'm pickign up the teen and a friend from the HS. :wtf2 NO! I am not! It was asked last night and I said no, did not give a yes answer! he was told to be on that bus after school.
The phone call was communicated through the locked bathroom door by Damon. Who told me to stop yelling. Uh, I was in the shower, in a locked room. Not sure he could hear me and I did not want to say it twice! That's about the only things that were said since yesterday when he undermined me to the child about the coat thing. Except for the middle of the night question asking WHY I didn't take the prodigy's tooth and replace it with money since last week. Um
... she's 13 and a PRODIGY! She knows there's no tooth fairy! Whatever, I put a few dollars on her shelf and took the nasty toof.
Meanwhile... I called the house office at the HS and left a message for the teen that I will not be able to pick her up from school and to make sure she is on the bus as normal. I hope they announce it on the loud speaker. Sometimes they do.
Detention Boy went to school. He said he feels a little better. If he doesn't, the idiot that let him go will be picking him up because I didn't give my OK.

Neighbor's kid is about nine yrs old and really bright. Can carry on an adult intelligent conversation better than a lot of adults. Neat kid, the whole family is cool. They add to the charm of our neighborhood.:ghug
