I need to read more of Light on Life. Man that old geyser can yammer on. Patanjali wrote the Sutras already... why do we have to read his take on them? I have to write a summary of the friggin book , by Friday

I'm going to read for an hour before the boys get home from school. I have to teach my private client at 5pm too (already went to the school for 4th grade yoga). Our realtor stopped by so I could sign some papers to keep the house on the market for 3 months. I hope it gets sold before then. No word back from our counter offer. Bastards!
Damon wants us to paint the kitchen over there. By the weekend. There's another open house on Sunday. I don't see how it's going to get done but we'll see.

Sitting at MD Anderson hospital with my friend. It's very sad. Luckily they have gotten her pain under control and she is resting. I'm praying for a quick and painless transition for her. She seems to have stopped fighting and is accepting her death. She is my hero

I'm home now. I'm helping my friends Mom plan some things for the funeral. I am so grateful to be clean and sober and able to do it.
AND my hubby scored tickets to the rodeo tonight! I'm excited. For country music Rascal Flatts is one of my favorites! Yee Haw!

The rodeo was fun. Rascal Flatts is a good band. Not too country. The people we went with drank but it was not a big deal.
I was strange thinking that my friend was less than 2 miles away dying and I was at a concert. Sure seems unfair.
But I am trying to be in acceptance. And I am grateful for sooooo much.

I'm sorry about your friend Tan. Nothing strange about someone dying and you being at a concert. That's how life (and death) is. There is always someone being born and someone dying. I am always mad at Death for taking someone I love away from me, but that's just how it is. Doesn't make it any easier, but that's just how it is.
