yeah i worry that someday SR will like really crash and loose things...so i sorta wanna print out July 08, Nov 08, trivial question...maybe a few others...but my god...we use to post so much...it would take reams!!!!!
still...one of these days i'll go back and read...thing is it would not only make me laugh but make me cry as well....
I think it will always hurt to think of those who aren't here anymore...

An easy way to look back when you feel like it is to go to your list of your own posts on your member page because every last one of them is there. Then you can click them and go back to whatever thread it was in. I went back to see what my first post was in this thread and in a way it seems like another lifetime, but in another way nothing has changed because guess who I mentioned in that very first post? yup, it was DG....go figure.

Count me in for the July club. 7-13-2008 was my alcohol free day. Today is day 13. 7-12 was a very bad day, but today is a very good day.
I saw from a comment from dancingirl in the thread that I started on my first day - "Joined the forum 10 minutes ago" that there were at least 3 of us with 7/13 in common. Time2Surrender, now I know you're the 3rd. Thanks for starting this up here!
Glad to see there are many with July in common....June too.
Together we are all stronger.
Ananda, you're right about going back and seeing people that don't post anymore. That first post of mine was between chmcali and Time2Surrender.

That was certainly a rough patch and caused quite a few of us to leave for a bit...but a lot of us have slowly come back over time to check in, eh? Oops....my canadian is showing a bit....
JIT's post seems to have kick-started a new gumption in this group (yes, I'm deciding "gumption" is certainly a real word!!!)! I always figured we were more drawn to the darkness than the light...haha...and take JIT's historic post-number to prove it!

I have times where the past seems negative, but...in reality...if i look a little closer..each of the things along the way created something new in me and in all my relationships...(it's all about me you know...snirkle)...so it's sorta reasuring to see how each step, however much it looks like a misstep..is really exactly the right step to get her

See now I have been here all week. I guess I really can't count it because I have been out of work for hopefully one last surgery. I will try to stop back next week and see if we make it to Part 8. Have a nice weekend all.

We can't buy a part 8.
JIT - baseball season is finally here but I really haven't been paying attention to anything but the Phils. How are the cubs doing and does it look like a good year? We sort of got creamed by the Marlins after looking real good the first 2 weeks. Haliday looks like a winner.
