So did you give your best and highest offer? Or was the 1st one it?

I know a motivated seller here in Joisey that will entertain all offers and answer back within minutes if not seconds.

He got the loan straightened out. Next up is getting insurance on the house then we can ask to have the closing sooner through the attorneys.

Maybe before Christmas :Meditate.

We gave them another offer, and also gave them 4 days to respond or we're walking away. Tired of being jerked around.

As you know Astro....my house is cheaply priced...and I'm sure that basement could be sub-divided into 6 rooms for the kids...as long as they are very small kids.....or real rubbery

Basement (dungeon) for the kids. I like that idea.

Dear Soup Nazi Lady,

We put up the teeny-tiny GD tree cuz we gotta keep the house neat and clean for showing. Ms. Astro is putting up the BIG tree at her little apartment so it looks like Christmas exploded over there. So I'm not going to be much help with advice

we will be looking this weekend for a reallly really skinny, but tall tree...due to house showings as well....one year we had 3 trees, and about 4 chrismas villages and then all the greenery and wreaths.....you could hardly move in the house...

If all else fails, get a big fat tree, and go to town with the hedge clippers

The article about the Aussie minister in his underpants dancing to techno music on a green couch was quite humorous! I loved the attention to detail.

K - go for the GD tree.

Remember, kids...

Christmas is cancelled.
