I Need diagnose for my disease.

I live normal life, can take any right desigins, but when it comes to speaking about something or like explaining movie i just seen for example i cant find right words, i know what i want to say, but when i trying to say this it sounds like mess and bunch of mistakes... sounds like i am crazy actually.

Dont know if this is good anology, but think of database of all words you know you need one of them e.g. № 981 you actually pulling wrong one № 984.

Also sometimes i wanna describe or say something i know what is that, but simply cant remember right word, like i never know how that thing called.

I wanna know what kind of desease is this and dont know good place to start searching, maybe someone here can tell me?

It would be a good idea, after what Splendra said to see a doctor, have a physical, and tell him/her what you have told us. He can lead you in the right direction. The hing with doctors though is, sometimes they just don't seem to get it, and they blow problems off idf they don't seem big enough,. and there aren't any detectable symptoms, orsigns that they find. So if this does, happen, be sure you push and pursur eit as far as you choose to. You deserve to have good care.. and to find out whats wrong. Doctors are busy, and sometimes they just don't take enough time. Not always, some are really great.

Check it out, because if it was a stroke, there could be another looming in the future, not to frighten you, but it is serious, and should be looked at as seriously. Some seemingly healthy people have had strokes.. I believe they are jst a blood clot in the body that has let loose and travels to the brain? and that's what causes it, and it can appen to anyone..

Check it out.. They thought I had a stroke before.
Love, Becky

On a hunch, I looked up a few resources on Cognitive Dysfunction. I also agree, DancingCloud, that you should seek a medical professional for an accurate assessment.

Judging by your description, Multiple Sclerosis matches that symptom precisely. I would strongly urge you to visit a General Practitioner MD at the very least.

One of the most vexing cognitive deficits seen in MS is word-finding difficulty-the experience of having a word on the tip of your tongue but not being able to remember it.

I was thinking possible MS also. That is one symptom of mine. Also, a small stroke needs to be ruled out.

DancingCloud, I'd also like to weigh in on the medical help. Once a professional is seen we can provide ideas, information and encouragement. One question I have is, did this just happen or has it been a long term problem? This is one of those classic cases of what you don't know can hurt you. Don W

Hey Dancing Cloud-

People have been known to have small strokes in childhood...also you sound like you could be dyslexic . It is very common amoung children who have one left handed parent and one right handed parent or two left handed parents and the child is right handed.

I am dyslexic and was very fortunate to have worked for a lady who was a special education therapist as a nanny for her 5 children. In addition to getting paid she gave me special therapy for my dyslexia and helped me to get special exam testing for dyslexics established at the local community college in my area.I could not spell words or numbers very well I still get things turned around and make mistakes and forms and paperwork are very challenging for me and sometimes I do get confused too but, if I do the exersises that I was taught I can usually get back on track pretty fast...

But, by all means get to a doctor and find out what the problem is and what kind of help is available for people with your condition.

I have some troubles reading though to not sure if this is dyslexia...

But dont see any connection to being left handed or right handed.

Guess i am going for medical checkup, but not sure whatever doctor i need, considering i dont wanna tell details to my family doc... whom i should visit?

Why wouldn't you tell your family practitioner? Any communication between you and your doctor--is protected firstly by HIPAA (fairly new and very strict privacy protection), and secondly by the medical profession's version of the attorney-client privilege. So any discussions between you and your doctor STAY BETWEEN YOU & YOUR DOCTOR.

You may need to see your family doctor regardless, in order to get a referral to an appropriate specialist.

Hi dancingcloud, Midas is correct. The new HIPAA rules are really tuff on privacy. However, there is no doctor that can properly treat yopu without all the facts. Mental problems any many cases mimick each other. Plus unlike a physical problem it can't be xrayed. I had a sister that was treated for manic depression for years. She didn't mention her drinking. Once she stopped drinking it stopped. Don W

I changed one doc already for not respecting my privacy, but it wasnt disparage of my rights...
This acts are just on paper, i live in small town and know how people like to speak bad stuff of other ppl here, so if this comes out i cant prove that this is my doc told someone or not, and dont think i gona lawsuit her since even more ppl will know bout my condition...
But i would trust only proffesional who specialize in that area...

Anyway you really think family doc knows anything bout my problem best she can is give me ticket to visit specialist, what i mean i can get this ticket without uncovering any detail about my condition.

You can call me paranoiac but its how i feel.

DancingCloud, This is how you feel. I think it is normal for what you describe. Just ask the family doctor for a referal. The key is to feel comfortable. You're doing fine. Keep up the good work. I know it will pay off. Don W
