Afraid I have borderline personality disorder
The only person able to make that kind of diagnosis is a psychiatrist and with good reason, they have trained for years in mental challenges and the drugs used to treat them.
So if you think there is something going on, why not get a referral from your GP to a psychiatrist and see what they think? Since they are also specialists in medications to treat mental challenges, that would be a good time to go over your prescriptions as well perhaps?
I also think a lot of mental illness is at least exacerbated, if not caused by alcohol abuse. You may find after a year or so sober that your mental illness(es) are far far better. I know that was the case for me and many other people. It could take a while before the true problem is clear - that means complete and total abstinence from alcohol and street drugs.
The first and best thing is to get and stay sober continuously for several months, stick to taking your prescribed medicines ONLY AS prescribed and start eating well, getting some exercise and sleeping through the night.

When I stopped drinking for a while it was evident the mental health issues I had been struggling my whole life were there. See a dr. For some, getting off alcohol and staying off will restore clarity of body and mind. At 9 months sober I am now trying to become mentally stable. I dont tolerate meds well either.
