Specific online forum for BPD?

Kinda like SR, but geared specifically towards bi-polar disorders. I was just diagnosed earlier this week with type 2 and I have lots of questions. Thanks.

The bp hope forum is now only running as a facebook group, the old one is no longer moderated or taking new members.

One of the busier bipolar forums is here:

Bipolar UK also have a forum which I used to go on a bit, just had a look and it's grown quite considerably since back then. It's open to all not just UK but you have to register to view.

You may be putting into google correctly but just wanted to make sure that you know that BPD stands for Borderline Personality Disorder. They are similar but different mental illnesses so especially since you are encountering Bipolar II make sure you get the right material.

When I googled it, I put in "bipolar disorder" and not BPD. I know the two are mistaken sometimes.

Thanks for the replies. I'll check these out later on this evening. Like I mentioned, I am really new to this. The past few days have been a melting pot of emotions. I haven't even began to discuss a whole lot with my wife yet. I'm keeping pretty quiet about it so far.... not sure how extended family will react... if we say anything at all.
