I think I hit the wall with my psych meds.

I got off all my psych meds because I hit a wall and that weren't working. Has this happened to anyone else? I need help and am thinking about checking myself in to a psych ward. I am not opposed to other medications. Damn this sucks.

Why not ? Smoke breaks, snack times , art class and 'interesting' people.

Have you been in this place before ?

What med are you opposed to ? Maybe it should go on your "allergy" list.

What specific meds are you referring to?

I hit the wall with Prozac . it stopped working. I was over medicated. These drs should take these drugs before prescribing them.

Just my opinion.

I still think it's reasonable advice for people to see their Dr (or another Dr for a second opinion) before making any medication changes....

Back in 90s I was on prozac...I didn't like it either...and I thought it had stopped working too...of course I was drinking at the time.

I worked with my Dr and we worked out another angle...

but you don't need to agree with me...it's your body

Best wishes to you as always
