Yesterday marked seven years since I last smoked weed. I remember the date because it was solstice and I went to a show, got hammered, and then smoked and things went sort of sideways from there. I live in a town that is now overrun with dispensaries and stoners. People think I'm weird because I don't smoke, and yet, God forbid, I'm employed and have my act together. Go figure. If people want to judge me for taking care of my physical and mental health, I say let them. If it's considered radical to be sober and weed free, I'm glad to be that radical. I'm so grateful to have been sober through this pandemic. Isolation doesn't need to be a reason to use or drink, it can be a tool to avoid using and drinking. Tip #1: Start a new hobby. Enjoy...
