Yesterday marked seven years since I last smoked weed. I remember the date because it was solstice and I went to a show, got hammered, and then smoked and things went sort of sideways from there. I live in a town that is now overrun with dispensaries and stoners. People think I'm weird because I don't smoke, and yet, God forbid, I'm employed and have my act together. Go figure. If people want to judge me for taking care of my physical and mental health, I say let them. If it's considered radical to be sober and weed free, I'm glad to be that radical.
