Sweating is a good and necessary thing. Your body is getting rid of the poison.
You asked how long detox would take. I have read that heavy users can take up to 3 month to test clean. You can speed up this process by eating clean and doing sweaty exercise daily.
Take heart that this is the last time you have to go through withdrawal.
10 days is great! Keep going!

Yeah I figured the dehydration is due to excessive sweating, its not like me to be sweaty so it must be part of detoxing for me.
moods are calmer today I even had a little nap this afternoon think im leveling out as iv felt alot more hyper the last week.
sleep has been good too. So far so good.

I do keep thinking if im finding it easier this time am I truely addicted but I know thats just av trying to pull me back so ignoring that.

Glad to read you're still making it stick. And my compliments for doing so. What's begun as a weekend adventure has now turned into a multi-day-streak!

For me, the best way to keep the mind quiet and happy is excercize. Not for the sake of it, do something you enjoy and do something that makes you tired. It's a great feeling of contentment and achievement also.

Best of luck and greetings from The Netherlands!

Day 14

Hey thanks for the support. Yeah I'm feeling positive I'm glad I didn't just make it through a weekend. Iv felt like giving up a few times but I know I'm worth more than what addiction lets me believe. Theres more to me than that I want to fight it this time.

Still feeling emotional was at therapy this morning so that seems to help. Gotta keep going. 2 weeks in.

Had a sh*t morning trying so hard with all my might not to give in and get weed. Super anxious just want to disappear out my head space but I know that's not the answer.

I agree with Dee.
Many times I gritted my teeth and was able to pat myself on the back (I actually did) and gave myself a "hurrah for me". That is so much better than self-loathing and regret.
Good for you for coming here when you wanted to go get weed.
You are making great steps!

Read all the threads on SR and see you are not alone in your struggle! We've all been there, some of us have relapsed and it is never a pretty story. You have a certain image in your head and it will not be like that. At best it will make you feel less anxious for a little while but soon there will be a lot of negative thoughts as well.

Hope you can make it through today, go for it!

Yes. Trying to tell myself it's just a bad day. I just have so much anger today.

I feel for you, and you will pull through!

For me, reading on SR was very benificiary in the early stages. Sort the threads by number of replies and start from the top with the ones with a lot of replies. I hope it does something for you too.

And focus on tomorrow. I bet you'll be very glad you didn't do what you always did. It's the long term that counts.

Heaps of encouragement for you!

Thanks flyingdutchman, I decided to get up stop feeling sorry for myself and do some exercise I actually feel so much better.

Iv been fit to burst out crying all day and that feeling has now passed. I'm sorry for the mental posts I really don't help myself sometimes sitting feeling sorry for myself.

I was going to suggest a walk. Never have I come back from a walk upset or angry or depressed.
Hang in there and keep posting!

Thanks guys. I always feel silly for posting when I'm not feeling great as I know I can come across irrational.
