Hey, all!! Thank you, Arura!! I'm now sneezing AND blowing my nose. LOL.
I am grateful to see the new avatars on this thread. It's so cool to see what folks look like. Maybe I should update my profile picture or something, too.
Also grateful for this little break in my on-call work. I have been SO busy this weekend! I had to visit this thread, though.

That's me,L.My daughter took that the other day with her new camera.Thanks for puttin' up you're pic.And you too,Arura.Did I start a trend?
Last time I saw Eddie's pic I believe she had pink hair.
It's raining here now so it's not quite as hot today.I'm grateful for that.
Back to work tomorrow though!

Richie, I do think you started a trend.
I am grateful that I still have one more day off and that I have an air-conditioned house to spend it in. When Matt was dropping off the kids last night he reminded me of when we didn't have any electricity (for four years!) and we had to use these water bottle hand pumped mister things to try and stay cool. I had forgotten and I am glad he reminded me because it made me sooooooo grateful for how much better life is today.

Hey, Arura, Kevin, L, and Richie!! Yes, I have pink hair in my profile picture. I dyed it, though, before my Board hearing and I haven't gotten around to fixing it back to pink. I have all the stuff to do it, but I haven't been able to find the time it seems.
Grateful tonight that I am NOT on call. It was a busy weekend for sure and a very busy day today as well.
Also grateful that I actually made some phone calls tonight. I talked to both my NA and my OA sponsors.
I get to start exercising again tomorrow, so I'm going to retire early. Have a lovely whatever, everyone!!

Thanks for your post Kevin. I am grateful I am not in jail. I hated jail. I was never one of those, "Oh well, three hots and a cot" people. I was crushed emotionally, physically and spiritually by the whole jail experience. Every single time I was like, "How did this happen again?" I was so bewildered. Not today. Yea! I am free.

Yeah L me too, I always said I used to do my prison time easier than most. Truth is it every second was hell. But even then I went back 4 times!

I had a problem with beer today.We had to rework an entire trailer of budweiser that had fallen over.It was a horrble mess.Hundreds of broken bottles on the floor and thousands of unbroken bottles that had to be repackaged.It's a good thing I never liked beer!By the time I got off work I smelled like a brewery.
L and Kevin,I am also glad that you are not in jail.
Arura,congrats on thirty days.

Good morning, or evening, as the case may be, L, Kevin, Richie, and Arura!!
I am grateful to be going to the dentist for a full check-up this morning for the first time since 1998. I went a few weeks ago for a quick look at a bump in my gums, but other than that, it's been years since I had my teeth looked at. I hope they're alright.
Also grateful that my term as Public Information secretary is essentially over. I was not keeping up with my duties once I started working, so it's a big relief not to have to worry about that stuff anymore. I do have a new position, but I think it will be manageable.

I am grateful it is cool this morning! Only 65F. They say our heat wave is breaking! Yea!
Kevin I can totally relate! I am grateful though that the consequences of being convicted of crimes is the probably the worst consequence I will face as far as society goes. It could have been worse. Death, disease etc.
Richie, the beer accident sounds awful. I hate the smell of beer. Always have. Especially warm beer. Ugh.

Good Luck at the Dentist eddie,when i cleaned up from the methadone,nearly 2yrs ago now... i went to the Dentist...
scarry...{sorry}.As i had'nt been for years, he took 3 teeth out that day.He also said the methadone had pulled the Enamal off my teeth and they need re-enameling which i cannot afford...They also have small holes in them...? So they still hurt abit.I found that going to get my teeth sorted was part of my recovery, as its important...! Good Luck...!
Im so Grateful Kev n L, are no longer in line, for jail, but are now FREE. In more ways than 1...!
Im Grateful for showers unless poor Richie would still smell...!
