Shared Gratitude

This evening I’m grateful for my best friend. We just got off the phone and I had told her today is my quit day, and I learned it was also hers. We were able to share what our sobriety plans were, what we thought was going to help and hurt us, and also confirm that we could be there for the other for accountability.

Happy New Year to you as well! I’m definitely happy to have her by my side. She’s on of my very dear friends, and at one point we were also drinking buddies, so I’m very happy that we can keep each other going on the right path.
