Farrier, welcome! Glad you are here and really liked your post.

Grateful for a few secs to post.
Grateful I at least started a story yesterday about the importance of ingratitude. But then got distracted and now I need to go find it again so I can let y’all know what I find out!
Grateful for a morning with no meetings.
Grateful my daughter came in before she went to bed (and I was already on my way to sleep) and gave me a long, sweet hug.
Grateful to get a more encouraging letter from son at camp yesterday. And he reassured me he’s eating plenty . I saw a pic of him and he looked so skinny! I guess it’s just all the activity. Which makes my mama heart happy.
Grateful for a/c. It is just going to be miserably hot here for the indefinite future. Trying not to panic. The poor plants and animals. Glad I can at least put water out at regular intervals and that is something.
Grateful I don’t have any meetings this morning.
Grateful for SR and this group.

Fearless, I hope that you were able to get than run in and that it helped to clear your mind.

Grateful for a new online meeting yesterday and the welcoming folks that stayed for the virtual coffee shop afterwards.
Grateful that SR retains the blogs from users that have come before us, tracking their sober journeys. So many nuggets of wisdom to be found in their success stories.
Grateful for a good night's sleep and renewed energy.
Grateful for all of you.

Hi CK! 🥰
CP yes, sometimes, when I have urge surfing to do, or need encouragement, I look around. I even found out Dee’s real name, but not telling’ 🤫
So glad you explored. It’s one of the things I’ve done differently this time around. Stuck around more, retraining my brain. Relapses aren’t something any body feels good about. Abstinence is NOT recovery, and abstinence is NOT control💻📱
NL, so glad your daughter has recovered from Covid, and your son is enjoying camp. That autonomy helps them grow.🏕
Alpine, I’m so glad you love to canoe, and find such good companionship and love from Riley. I’ve never baked my quesadillas, only made them on stove top, Cheese, rotisserie chicken, finely chopped red onion, chunky salsa, and some fresh cilantro if on hand. Yummy!🌮
Zura, I’m so glad you are here, and there, and so many places. You are recovering by leaps and bounds!
Fearless, I miss running, I’ll live through your running 👟🦵🏼🦿🦶🏼

New Zealand! How exciting Free! Always wanted to go.
Grateful though I didn’t get enough hours of sleep, quality was great.

Free, I used leftover grilled chicken ( I had a homemade rub on) chop it up small then warm it up in a pan with taco seasonings and other spices, then place it on a tortilla with finely chopped onions, peppers, and of course cheese and then toss them in the oven. Yumm. We dip them in salsa. I can't find any good salsa back here so I may have to resort to making my own.

Grateful for coffee (belatedly, but it was pretty good).
Grateful I'm not the only person who seems to be running around with my hair on fire. Sure, I'm usually fairly busy, but these past few weeks have really dialed things up a notch. Grateful for a fairly productive day shopping with my older son for college yesterday - he can be very, uh - frugal, which is a good thing, but sometimes I have to tell him to just put the dang thing in the cart without overthinking it!
Grateful my younger son has some fun camps coming up.
Grateful for telework, but also grateful to be in the office today.
Grateful I have a loaner car to drive since the engine of my (new) car decided to blow last week.
Grateful to know that everything will fall into place soon, and we'll settle into a new routine.
Grateful to be sober.

Grateful for a chat with my sister this morning.
Grateful to be heading out to a campground up the coast for a couple days ... escaping today's heat. Also escaping the internet ... I notice when I go somewhere with no wifi, I get inspired to use the time to paint instead of just fooling around on the web.
Grateful for plants in the yard, that attract flowers and butterflies and bees.

Numb - I sympathize, that heat is horrible. My niece is in Parker, TX (near Dallas) & they'll be in the 100's this week.
Fearless - So true that the fallout from Covid is still happening & will continue for a while. Hoping things will improve for you soon.
Grateful for one more cool day before we heat up.
Grateful I don't have to sacrifice my hanging plant to a Robin. She seemed to be making a nest in it, but must have decided to find a better spot.
Grateful for the woodchuck that visits us once in a while. He's a chunker - probably destructive, too but he doesn't hang out for long.
Grateful for my quality not quantity sleep last night (same as Fearless).
Grateful for you ALL.

Sometimes when I yawn I try to get Riley's attention to see me yawn just to see if he will yawn too. Nope..I have done several trials and no yawn. I can make my MIL and Mr. Alpine yawn though. Hmmm, inquisitive mind.

aamkirk, you are SO right about the routine. I find that keeping the house somewhat orderly also helps my stress levels so much, and right now it's a chaotic mess. Luckily, I'm teleworking today so I'm going to try to make a dent in this disaster area!
Hev, that's so cool about the woodchuck! Hopefully he/she won't be too destructive!
Turs, your little getaways are so inspiring.
Free, NZ sounds like an amazing trip.

Grateful for coffee.
Grateful for telework, and also grateful for a good office day yesterday.
Grateful (always) for Marshalls and TJ Maxx - and Trader Joe's and Wegmans. Just grateful to live in a place where everything is super convenient.
Grateful one of my coworkers is keeping me updated on her adorable new puppy.
Grateful my boys went to the gym and Chipotle together last night. I think (hope?) they will miss each other, even though they're such different people.
Grateful I'm pushing forward with some necessary conversations about my mom's care.
Grateful to be sober.

Grateful I got to talk with Mr. Alpine on the phone last night. He sounds busy but doing well and his luggage was found
Grateful for a good night's sleep
Grateful for fresh vegetables and fruits
Grateful for a place to sleep and sit
Grateful I found SR, it has helped me in many ways
Grateful for all of you

Grateful to see CK and aamkirk stop by.
Grateful ClearPath went to a meeting and got some well deserved support.
Grateful to CP and Free for reminders to tap into the inspiration here more often.
[spoiler alert: total grati-whine] Grateful I’m not alone in struggling to manage some of the chaos right now. Fearless, sounds pretty overwhelming. PS I can’t even totally figure out why I’m having such a hard time but it’s like I can’t even manage to make a good grocery list. Or do my evening (FB) grats. Or exercise. I’m down a kid and still it’s like trying to grab onto fog to make my schedule.
Grateful this too shall pass.
Grateful for all of you.
