Morning Gratitude ~ Part 78
Grateful for the moments when my mind is quiet and relaxed (although at only 3 months sober it is a rare occurrence, I can feel everything beginning to come together)
Grateful to be working on letting go
Grateful that I am seeing reality for what it really is

As horrible as this is, I am grateful that reality is giving us both a kick in the rear and showing us that we cannot drink any longer.
Grateful to wake up hang over free on another sober day.
Grateful for a good nights sleep.
Grateful my husband is talking to me again.
Grateful to be able to drive him to work this morning in the pouring rain.
Grateful for no drama.
Grateful for the little things in life.
Grateful to you all for being in my life on this journey.

Grateful to consider that getting back up and getting back into the "fight to fix" what's not mine to fix will, at some point, result in me being knocked down or out (again); may be time to leave the ring, lol.
Grateful for fond memories of my mother and grandmothers and great-grandmothers.
Grateful for the hand-written recipes passed down through the generations.
Grateful for heirloom furniture passed down to me.
Grateful for sobriety and recovery!
