I'm grateful others can help me place my temporary pain into a larger perspective.
A curse quickly becomes a blessing when placed against another's.
This assumes to be true what Abraham Lincoln said, "Most folks are as happy as they make up their minds to be."

Grateful for another sober day. Grateful for my 6 45 am meeting, and first I feel after making a lot of meetings consistenly. Grateful for the life I have and the people I know. Grateful for the opportunity to cook my boyfriend a nice healthy meal and eat together. Almond butter from a friend. Dandelion greens and spinach harvested from the field. A nice hot shower after work. Something telling me today they admired the way I work today- made my day!

Grateful for a loving and supportive husband, with whom I can share the dark side of me.

Grateful that I made it through the tough first few months after I quit drinking.
Grateful that I am reminded how hard it was and how I never want to go through it again.
Grateful that I now enjoy my life, am clear headed and productive.
Grateful that my life is now manageable.
Grateful that I can feel gratitude.

Lots to be grateful for today!
Grateful for yoga
Grateful for beautiful literature that inspires me
Grateful for therapy
Grateful for the incredible way spring air smells
Grateful as always, for my sweet pup who fills me with love
And most of all, grateful for av being ever so silent for the first time since I've been sober. I feel like I won the lottery on that one.
