Thankful for forgiveness
I am thankful for forgiveness from my wife. We had a huge argument in front of our son. I had drinking, of course, which fuel my anger. However, I am thankful that happened, because it helped open my eyes to my drinking problem.

Thank you. I am looking forward to it. It's not going to be easy. I just know that I was heading down a path that would have caused a lot of destruction for myself and others around me. My drinking was getting progressively worse, and I've been hiding it from my wife. That is no way to live.

I came to the same conclusion, 1needhelp.
I hated the sneaking and lying...this was not the real me. I felt like such a weight was lifted off my shoulders when I stopped drinking.
This is a very supportive site, keep posting and reading. You're not alone.
