The evening

I am so thankful to have seven days of sobriety and a daughter in recovery who loves me and forgives me.

I am also grateful for the simple thing tonight of a peanut butter sandwich, a glass of milk, a good book, a warm bed...and for surviving a terrible bout with the flu!

What a wonderful evening it is!
