Morning Gratitude ~ Part 48
Grateful for thoughts of summer on this dark and extremely damp morning!
Grateful to be going in to work this morning - doubly grateful that my partner will be giving me a lift in!
Grateful for all of you. You kept me company throughout 2014 and taught me so many valuable things. Here's to 2015!

Oh really? Summer you say? I cordially invite you to share the horror that is Melbourne's summer. One day nice, the next day purgatory. OK...this is not very grateful of me...so I am grateful that I survived the nightmare that was the past 2 days.
Grateful to be doing the next right things today with an AA meeting celebrating 27 years of recovery for the only member older than me, and he can't walk without a walker.
Grateful that I will be walking a mile today with just my aging body doing the work.
Grateful that my wife will be attending the same meeting because it is open to people who are not like us, and she has a black belt in alinon.

Grateful to have found SR and to finally admitting to myself that I am an alcoholic. The wine is now in my past and the chance to have a normal life is ahead of me. ( Day3) I can't wait to embrace life without an embarrassing clouds overhead!

Good morning, SR community!
I am grateful for my amazing mother, sisters, and family friend. I am grateful for the awesomeness that is my furry-creature of a cat.
I'm grateful for a supportive roommate who cares about me deeply and wants to see me heal.
I am grateful for my Higher Power which remains by my side - ready to forgive and love me - even when I choose to not acknowledge it.
Lastly, I am grateful for another day of sobriety!

Grateful that every day more people are finding their way here, and joining this amazing community.
Grateful for a cool day after the heck that was yesterday.

Sad that a dear friend of the family died yesterday. She was 101 and had been part of my life for over 50 years. Grateful that she is now at peace and reunited with her husband and my mum and dad and sister. They all loved her to bits, as she loved them ♥♥♥
