Grateful I wasn't on the list to work on the weekend and for allowing myself a sleep/rest marathon all day yesterday. I've been really run down and sick lately.
How I haven't missed a day of work yet these past three weeks I've been sick (cold, sinus infection, bronchitis) I'll never know.
But it really caught up to me yesterday. I was literally flattened all day and just slept off and on all day and stayed in the house.
I've already been through two rounds of antibiotics so hoping that rules out anything bacterial that's going on.
Grateful for calling and listening to my mom yesterday. Forget all that otc stuff she said. Just take two aspirin and stay in bed all day and have hot chicken noodle soup.

Grateful for a beautiful message at Unity this morning.
And grateful for my first "food porn" post to Facebook, although the yautia lila and blue potato chips did not turn out lavender and purple as I had hoped. They were still good. Glad I like to experiment with food. So incredibly grateful that I am no longer have the fears around food that I have and that so many people have in our culture. Glad I can eat anything (except buckwheat 'cause it gives me migraines)!!

Grateful for another sleep/rest marathon day. Just allowed my body and mind rest all day and stayed in the house in my robe sleeping on and off.
Not grateful that I have to start work at 5 am instead of 6 am tomorrow.
But then I think about it and just grateful I have a job.

Grateful for knitting.
Grateful for the cleaning I got done in between knitting.
Grateful my hubby worked in the chicken coop today.
Grateful I am going to have a great nights sleep tonight because I'm sober and won't wake at 3 am.
