Grateful that I could eat enough this evening to satisfy my delightfully mad Russian friend, even though I left half and my jeans are still complaining.
Grateful to see my delightfully mad Russian friend's current art project.

Grateful the dogwalker put the big collar on the dog again today for me since he keeps chewing on his paw. Grateful he is functioning better with it and even managed to eat food out of his kong with the collar on.
Grateful my girlfriend felt she could contact me tonight when she learned her husband drank. (She and he are both in recovery for about five years.) She is really sad about it.
Grateful another work friend who hurt her back, got good care and is recuperating.
Grateful the temperature will be in the fifties this weekend during daytime. Good walking weather.
Grateful to feel my feelings of loneliness and helplessness and not just do something shorterm to avoid the feelings. Grateful to keep saying to myself today that I am responsible for everything in my life, and therefore I can change it.

Grateful I survived what amounted to 4 hours of working with my mom at her assisted living, along with my brother coming and being an idjit. I have been mostly couch potato-ing since mid-afternoon...Glad I know that's OK.
