Thank You God ~ Part 16
Thank you God for getting the family through the busy and often joyful holidays. Without my Sobriety, which means everything, I would have been nursing a huge hangover for the next days and beyond. I remember how sick I could become and never want to go there again!!
Thank you God for these posts that are written with much wisdom and optimism. I get so easily off track and do my own thinking. My own thinking often takes me to a bit of a dark place which is so uncomfortable.
Thank you God for prayer and specifically praying for the suffering and turmoil in France. My heart goes out to all the innocent victims and their familiesa of this Terror and hope it is ending shortly.

Thank you God for got my back when the other fella was leading me astray.
The alcohol was cutting me off from you, I'm beginning see that now and for the first time.
Be patient as we work through this, I'm between a rock and a hard place with trying to keep everyone happy and following your direction.
I'm not even thinking of myself anymore.
Stick with me through this.
Amen

Thank You God for one of the many phrases such as "accept the things I cannot change". Acceptance is extremely key for me and my Emotional Sobriety.
Thank You God for Your constant love and acceptance with my struggles which give me hope to be a better me.
Thank You God that I am able to take care of upcoming car repairs/new tires with funds that I have saved. I would be lost without my transportation, especially getting to Dr. appointments.
Thank You God for the most recent SR posts by all these wonderful sober people. When I know I need to hear what they have to say it is just a keystroke away. What an awesome way to stay sober when getting out is very difficult due to the pain of Neuropathy.
