Thank You God for Answering a Prayer today. My friend of many years made it thru surgery and a good recovery is expected.

Thank you God for the beautiful, cool weather. Thank you for the slow changing of seasons. Thank you for being on my side and helping me through a difficult work week. Bless my family and all those on SR.

Thank you God, for lots of rain, and for watching over me today while I have my 3rd and hopefully last CT scan.

Thank you God for a great new day today resulting from the rewards of the program of recovery made possible by Your Grace, and the price paid by my Lord Jesus Christ who taught me to love and forgive by His example. :scoregood :tyou

Thank you God, for Your tender mercies and grace as I age.

Thank You God that I was directed to a Home Health Service that also provides transportation to and fro Medical appts and Surgeries. It is relatively inexpensive and only needs 24 hours notice. This relieves me greatly as it's tricky to have friends/relatives help me. They have their own issues to deal with or live counties away. My mind is finally at rest about this issue.

Thank You God that you do answer prayers, but not immediately. It points out to me to practice patience, all the while being able to live my day happy joyous and free. I can greatly avoid resentments this way as well. Resentment is the #1 Killer, in my mind, of Recovering Alcoholics.

Thank you God for always being there when I need you, and I need you all of the time, and I love you with all of my heart and soul. :tyou

Thank you God, for drawing me towards my church a few times this week to serve wherever I can.

Thank you God for another great weekend to do your will as long as you tell me what it is and give me the power to do it. :tyou

Thank you God, for a peaceful weekend in our home. I hate to say it but it gets that way when my son returns to college. It's a little quieter around here.

Thank you God for seeing me through some tough times these days.

....I am with you, Astro. I have 2 daughters. One is very low strung:herewego and one is a drama queen with high emotion. The first one lived at home until she married at age 24. The second one, thankfully, went off to college at 17. God worked it out just right in order for me to remain sober. The headstrong one was really taxing my nerves. I was ready to lose it. :a043:

Thank you God for all of my terrific daughters, and my huge loving family.

Today I am especially grateful for one terrific daughter who took my wife to the store to buy, bring home, and set up a new HP, all in one computer with everything on it.

That was all done after church yesterday. Then they cooked dinner. :scoregood :tyou :c011:

Thank you God, for everyone that showed up at our church BBQ yesterday. We cooked over 300 hot dogs and 400 burgers. Wow!
