Thank you God, waking me up this beautiful morning. Thank you God, for helping me connect with the recovery community both in real life and online. Thank you god, for AA/NA, and the fact that There are meetings I can get to even while living in the western highlands of Guatemala.

Like so many of us here, I could have easily died so many times. Specifically when I was driving in a blackout, hit something, totaled my car, airlifted to hospital...but I'm here. Maybe it's for some reason, I don't know. But I'm here, and I woke up this lrning not hungover, and I currently have no urge to drink. My gratitude is boundless. Thank you God.

I could feel the love of you in my heart as I was walking and interfacing with so many lovely people before 10 am with light guiding my journey.

Now I am safely home giving thanks to God doing for me what I can not do for myself.

Thank you God for family and friends with the upcoming Holiday Season. I love it so much and already have my lites and decorations up. No small tree yet tho. I'll look for a small bargain because they smell so great.

Thank you God that the hot cup of coffee I just spilled on myself this morning appears to not be a lot of pain. I'm so glad my cat, Tixie, was not on my lap. I'm Getting old and clumsy.

Thank You God for keeping me in CA when I thought I may move to somewhere more affordable. The Weather problems all over the US make me greatful to be here in CA and pray things start clearing up very soon for those who are snowed in.

Alcoholics laugh at comments that normal people don't think is funny. Then my wife says there is no filter to keep some of my thoughts from reaching my brain.
