Grateful to be able to get out of bed in the middle of the night and come here, because aging has changed my sleeping pattern.
Recovery means, how important is it really when I can socialize with folks who are just like me only quite a bit younger.

Grateful for waking up early on this Saturday morning. It's so beautifully quiet, only the birds singing, just lovely.
Grateful that I have lots of healthy fruit juices and coconut water in the fridge to drink instead of wine.
Grateful that my OH has again offered to do do the shopping this morning.

Grateful for the past 30 Days sober. Grateful to be able to face each day without a hangover. Grateful to live where I do. Grateful for new coping skills. The. Grateful the people I love with are taking a well deserved little trip this weekend. Grateful I don't feel tempted to drink while they are gone ( time alone = huge trigger for me) Grateful my SO got his car all registered so he can come and stay with me, helping me avoid any temptation that does come up. Grateful I know such a good, supportive guy. Grateful we will have a nice evening tonight enjoying each others company, cooking a nice meal, drinking tea, and watching the Simpsons. Grateful for a women's meeting this am. Grateful for some really great posts I just perused here...opening my eyes o even more things to be grateful for in sobriety!

Grateful for a few "high" points yesterday that made it all seem worthwhile.

Grateful to make some gradual improvement in diet to hopefully reduce inflammation and pain. Gradual diet change is the best way for me to stick with it because I have to get used to many foods I don't normally ever eat. Grateful to have something to focus on that I can do about my pain.

Grateful that winter in my part of the world is blue skies and sunshine.
Grateful for the long(ish) walk Mr Marcher, Marcher dog and I just enjoyed out on the cycleway on the beaches.
Grateful for Mr Marcher's continued recovery of his health and strength.
