Grateful for the newcomers walking into the rooms today. Reminds me of my drinking days, my chronic relapsing in AA days. That is why I attend meetings, step 12 work is amazing.

5 newcomers tonight at the meeting. Topic was step 9. I was the only one that talked about step one and the disease concept. Obsession of the mind and the allergy of the body. I stuck around after helping out with the chairs, then by the door with the cancerous crowd (smokers). Snagged another sponsee. 100% Freshie, first time ever at a meeting.
