Grateful
For life.
For another 24 hours to live, (I hope)
For the predawn hours on a Sunday listening to ambient music.
For having a totally free day to do what I want with.
For my beach town.
For 40 degree weather right now, and that will get back to 70 this afternoon.

For The SR community.

Grateful for sobriety and restraint of tongue when God gives me the power to do it.

Grateful for sleep hypnosis on YouTube that I used in the middle of the night when I could not return to sleep.
Grateful to have an invitation to my brothers this afternoon to watch football with family.
Grateful my Dad and a sister will be there.
Grateful I have lots of food to make myself a yummy seafood omelette this morning. My fridge had been empty for weeks!

Today I am grateful to be alive. I am grateful for everyone who believe sin me. and grateful that my dog is as awesome as he is--because he has been with me through everything--and he still loves me

Grateful that all of your posts can gently and without pain, pull my head out of my rump so I can see good things in my own life. Thanks.

I'm grateful for my dog too. She's 14 y o now, pound puppy I got when she was a couple of years old and had been returned too many times. she's lost her hearing now and needs aspirin for arthritis but I love her so much. She's so sweet and always has a wagging tail. she never seems depressed by any of her ailments, always smiling, you know the dog smile. she inspires me and I may even care for her more now that she's more vulnerable.

Grateful for all the animals, past and present, in my life!

Grateful to be back with you after a gastric bug, I'd forgotten what debilitating illness (vomiting) was like and I'm grateful for my health and sober life.

Grateful for my my black poodle who crossed the rainbow bridge 2 years ago at age 16. We did not get another because it would not be fair for us to pass and leave her behind.

Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all, so I am very grateful for all of the love in my life thanks to recovery.

Grateful for a beautiful sunrise.
Grateful for my dog leaping on and off the bed with urgency one minute.... and then when I relent and drag myself out of bed, I turn around and he is snoring on the floor!!
Grateful to have the money to pay a bill.
Grateful to face the music and take my head out of the sand.
Grateful for all of you.

Grateful to wake up this morning with a clear head and not a hangover. Grateful for my little dog who lays curled up on my lap while I drink coffee, watch the news and check in with SR!

Grateful for the chance to do what I can do, as well as I can, knowing I can't control the outcome.
