Withdrawal
I am Grateful for My Withdrawal last week, that sent Me into DT's, Tremors,
cramps, insomnia - Deathly Ill in My bed where i should have seeked medical attention...I was in a cycle where I kept feeding the hangover to feel better and then kept drinking. I couldn't stop. But Last Week's episode helped Me stop and I am Grateful, because without it I KNOW I would still be drinking tonite. I am going to a Meeting instead!

I love your attitude diffingo. I'm thankful you didn't end up with a stroke or seizure.
I was the same way - a 'hair of the dog' the next morning at the end of my drinking career. It seemed the perfect answer to avoid the shakes and nausea - and we were being led further & further into hell. I'm so happy you found your way back and are working on your new life. Glad to have you here.
