Grateful for a productive day....I've received help, and I've given it. Amazing.

Grateful for being buoyed up today by the March 2011 Marchers.
Grateful for not holding on tightly.

Grateful for a wonderful moment today when a loose friendly dog ran up to my dog on leash and it was a happy sniff-sniff instead of my dog picking up my anxiety and lashing out. A huge rewarding change from months past, a proof that things get better.

Grateful today that a friend, who was in a bad way, reached out for help -- and asked if I would help them get the help they needed. They want to change their life and for that I am grateful... just SO grateful.

Grateful for my friends and family... and that includes all of you.

Grateful for friends and the telephone to re-connect and help each other through the difficult, lonely, and the boring times.

Ah, yes! The grey area. I'm trying to learn to live there myself and I'm grateful for the knowledge that contradictions can exist, I don't have to resolve them, and that it doesn't serve me to try to force things into black and white categories.

I'm also grateful for my change in attitude and willingness starting to bring about the gradual lifting of the depression I've been in. I had a much better day today!

Hasta luego, amigos!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

Grateful for a nice long conversation with a friend today. Grateful bf was able to take care of a task that has been weighing on him, getting it off his shoulders. Grateful to be developing a better sense of the reasoning for planning ahead and making longterm decisions. It still doesn't come naturally to me, but I'm working on it.

Mega grateful. I love it. I, too, am grateful for not being where I was in a number of ways—drugs (including alcohol), cigarettes, relationships, bulimia, cutting, etc. I am not harming myself on a daily basis anymore and it is STARTING to feel good!

And grateful that I get to talk on the phone to my therapist at home today. I'm ridiculously excited.

Happy Wednesday, all!
Love and hugs,
Eddie

I am so grateful that my parents are in a good retirement community with lots of their friends. My dad is getting more and more feeble physically and mentally and it is such a comfort to know that he is well taken care of and still has quality of life. Though it's really hard to see him get more and more frustrated with his limitations - seems like just yesterday he was still vigorous and into everything.

So grateful to have parents who love me and who I love dearly - and who are still with me in their 80s. I know I am very lucky and I feel very blessed!
