IWBWI You gave her a good life and should be happy for the time spent with her. I hope eventually you might be able to give a loving home to a lonely dog who needs a family. The world needs more people like you.

So grateful I no longer spend my evenings in a drunken stupor. Was just starting to feed the dogs and noticed Nikko was staggering and off balance as he does when his sugar levels get really low. I ran and got the Karo syrup, which he licks right out of the jar, and gave him some. WIthin ten minutes he was fine and ate his dinner.

He can go into seizures from this, and can even die if it's bad enough and isn't treated in time. That happened once after I first got him. I am so afraid of that happening again, tho thank God I'm now sober and aware of things like that, not passed out on the bed.

I LOVE MY SOBRIETY!!

Daughter and her fiance came home from a walk last night with a stray kitten. Ugh.

She's really cute and we're in the process of finding a forever home for her.

Of course, my daughter is hinting around that she'd like to keep her. Um....no. She's cute and all, but....no.

Great job, Least - you're a good mommy

Suki, she is beautiful and bless you for taking her in and finding her a good home.

A friend sent me this great video of a year in the life of a German Shepherd - in 40 seconds!!! (don't forget to turn up your volume too) Enjoy!

My pets are referred to as "lottery-cats"...it is like winning the Lottery when they are with me....the best i can offer to spoil them.

I always have at least 2 escorts to the bathroom...the dog likes to rub against my legs and one of the cats sits on the counter...i have coverage from top to bottom...if i dare to close the door for a few minutes of privacy...there is bumping, thumping and a stray paw under the door...it's a weird feeling when they MUST watch me shower...then one of the cats jumps in to lick all the water...because it must be BETTER than what is in their dishes.

Poor little Jack's itchies are back so it's off to the vet for another cortisone shot. Grateful for my wonderful vets, and grateful that a tech can give the shot and not get charged for the office visit charge, just the shot.

My vets are worth their weight in gold.

I am a horrible cat-Mum...the song which makes me think of my cat is Fat-bottomed girls.

Little dog = Ain't nothing gonna break my stride (I've got to keep on moving)

Medium Dog = All by myself . Whippets look like their world is ending most of the time and mine is no exception!

And for me the more men I meet, the more I love my dog

Grateful, so grateful that Jack is no longer scratching himself to pieces.

Thank you and hugs to my vets.

Today is 'bone day'. They each get a fresh beef bone and have a great time chewing it to pieces.

So grateful my beagirl was never a research beagle. Here's a video and article about two rescued beagles walking on grass for the first time. (video is at the end of the article)

Just wanted to update y'all on the stray kitten. My daughter and her fiance took her up to Pet Smart this morning where the rescue group was holding adoptions. They took her and said they'd have the vet there at the store check her out, gave her a Capstar for fleas, and said she might even go up for adoption today. If not, she will be fostered and available for adoption. I'm happy it came to a good end for the little kitty. She'll be well taken care of until she finds her forever home.

Our two adult cats are very grateful she's gone.

petsmart in my area does sponsor lots of dogs and cats too.....when i adopted my dog last year, the group was sponsored by them through Petfinder. Sammy came with a complete vet check-up and shots up to date, a free complete grooming bath/hairstyling and $200. worth of coupons for Petsmart. all were useful items.

that kitty will be adopted quickly....good deed Suki!
