good morning! I forgot where I was posting...I think I put gratitude in the whining thread...
anyway, I'm grateful for a good morning, getting in my exercise, enjoying my coffee and being able to drive instead of swim to work...it is raining cats & dogs here.
and of course I'm grateful for Sober Day #43 today.

I am so grateful to have the counselor I do. She's wonderful and understanding and smart and it always does me a world of good after being able to vent to her and get her opinions and feedback. Thank God for a good counselor.
I am also grateful my little dog is doing so well. Grateful the sun is out and we can go for a nice long walk.

me too Sneez! good morning everyone! and it is a good morning for me...even though we are flooding everywhere, it is SoberDay #44!
I am tired from not sleeping well due to my previously broken shoulder (aches when it rains)...but I am Sober!!! I am drinking coffee for breakfast, not wine...If anyone told me this was how far I could progress, i would not have believed it..but now thanks mostly to the support and encouragement here, I feel better than I have in YEARS...I am also grateful that my chronic depression still seems to be "on vacation".

Grateful that I woke up yet again this morning. Grateful that my fiancee is beginning to talk to me in bits and pieces, and grateful that I actually saw her smile a couple times last night and this morning. At me, not at the cats or the TV. Grateful that I have a job to go to today. Grateful that my teacher gave me an extension on a project because of my run-in with the law last week, and grateful that she only imposed a 15% penalty. Grateful to be here, wherever here may be.

grateful this morning for waking up and knowing the difference between right and wrong, knowing my boundries and not needing to control others behavior....i guess I am a "late bloomer"......
