grateful for RZ's insightful post yesterday "what appears, ain't always is"...SO true!
I am grateful for sleeping like normal people, I treasure the 6 solid hours i got last night...(which I used to get maybe in 2 days)....real sleep is one of the best things my body seems to thrive on.
I am grateful for all my fellow posters who I can call on 24/7 through websites and know they will help me if things get difficult...what a wonderful bunch you all are!!! without you all I never would be at SOBER DAY #22

Fandy, congrats on 22 days sober!
I'm grateful that an old friend and I are on good terms. (a long time ago we parted on very bad terms) We have since forgiven each other for long ago transgressions. He has asked me if he can go with me to my church! (We have a wonderful new pastor and I told him all about our new minister and he wants to hear him and meet him. God works in mysterious ways!)

So good to read everyone's posts, good vibes. ^___^
Said this one before, but constantly being reminded...grateful for bloody amazing friends, people who make it impossible not to be grateful.

good morning everyone!...I am so grateful for Sober Day #23....a good night's s sleep and few dreams I actually remember (the academy awards and Meryl Streep? how strange)..and I am grateful that neither me or the cats were injured when I tripped over some toys they moved into my path and spilled a full cup of HOT COFFEE all over my head and clean sheets....I was able to laugh about the incident, i am grateful for not letting it even bother me....al though i do mourn the missing butter toffee coffee, ihad it perfect...now my head is sticky until i shower.

grateful for yet ANOTHER night of restful sleep....truly a gift!!! I have a good attitude and energy to face the day, despite the upcoming 5 inches of rain Mr. Doom&Gloom weatherman is predicting for the weekend.
grateful for being able to say I am now on Sober Day #24

I am overwhelmed with gratitude at the moment. That is not an exaggeration. Just had a wake up call and everything turned out okay, but we were so close to it not being okay. Just makes me appreciate things even more.
Forward we go...side by side-Rest In Peace

Here is something I just read

A.A. Thought for the Day
By having quiet times each morning, we come to depend on God's help during the day, especially if we should be tempted to take a drink. And we can honestly thank Him each night for the strength He has given us. So our faith is strengthened by these quiet times of prayer. By listening to other members, by working with other alcoholics, by times of quiet meditation, our faith in God gradually becomes strong. Have I turned my drink problem entirely over to God, without reservations?
