Can you guys say a prayer for my friend "K"..
He is like a brother to me and I have known him since I first started "trying" to get clean...about 7 years ago.. We hooked up as buddies and have loved each other ever since through it all.
I made it to sobriety and he has continued to struggle desperately all these years...
I love him hopelessly and he tried to kill himself yesterday and is on life support in the ICU..
I absolutely believe in the power of prayer.... Please if you do too say a prayer for him and his family.
We are devastated....

One foot in front of the other no matter what...even in emotional chaos everything is already ok.......

My prayers for K and his family (that includes you LB).

I believe that one of the big reasons we are clean & sober today is to be there for others at times like these.

Today I made the little boy laugh. (the same little guy who slapped me repeatedly in the face the first time I worked with him…now, he’s me mate) It was great, I’d never seen him laugh like that…totally cracking up. We had the joke going all day, and if I heard ‘do it again’ once I heard it a thousand times. Grateful for that.

Thank you to everyone for your prayers...

K is still on life support and unable to sustain breathing on his own...but... the Dr says he is a little more stable.. ((deep sigh))

I am grateful for the power of love...
