I looked up touchstone a few years back and was stunned lol

I always thought it meant that it was a catalyst toward spiritual growth but it doesn't... A touchstone is a marker to show how far you have come, so pain give us an opportunity to see our growth....

I don't know why exactly I felt compelled to share that but I did.. I am grateful.

i am grateful for my sense of self today. i lost it sometime ago to my exabf. i am grateful for being in control of my emotions and not spiralling out of control. However, what i am most grateful for is my family, my children, my friends and God who are always by my side no matter what and accept me and love me unconditionally. that is what i am most grateful for.
