Chance, I do not know what happened with sponsor Bernie
so I do not know how to pray, but God knows.

Thankful for sunshine today, and another small storm
coming tonight.
Thankful I am adjusting to the medication a little better
each day.
Thankful that by sharing with newcomers on the forums I
am able, at least for a while, to get out of myself.

Doo Doo is his full name actually!!! lol 
We call all the dogs at the shelter Doo Doo and with him it just stuck when I brought him home. This is what he looked like when I decided to foster him. Then I fell in love an adopted him.

Grateful this morning that we have dogs that are faithful to us no matter what!
Grateful that sometimes the understand when no one else can!
Grateful that my sponsor is home in the hospital here and is in great spirits that makes me happy
Grateful that today we all have a choice in life on life's terms today I choose to be happy.....

Grateful for unconditional Love. May we bask in This, absorb It, and
allow It to permeate our being. Breath It in, soak in It. Allow It to
become the center. Then, to keep It, as Rusty says, may God help us
to "give only love"....because to keep it you have to give it away.

Grateful that we had rain last night and no tornado got to Chance and I or effected our town much at all.
Grateful that we never know when our day will come be grateful that we are alive.
Grateful this morning that I woke up early feels good to come here early that is for sure.

Grateful you guys were safe from the storm Vic.
Gracie escaped out the window yesterday and I am grateful my youngest daughter spotted her before we left and I put her back inside. She is an inside cat.... she doesn't understand the street. She was in the street under a car!!! We live DOWNTOWN! Crazy cat. Glad she is asleep in oldest daughters bed where she belongs.

Grateful this morning that the sun is out and shinning not only on the outside but also the inside of me....
Learning more lessons in recovery.......
Grateful that I had the chance to spend around 4 hours with my sponsor in the hospital yesterday and seeing him go through many emotions

Arura, I don't know what is going on, but I've been through
the wars and the fires, and, more recently, changes in
meds that have thrown me right back to keeping vampire
hours. I am losing weight but sick to my stomach all the time.
These are the the the times when I need my friends the most.
I love you even though I don't know you. This has always
been the bond, the strength of friends in recovery. Those
doing well reach out to help the struggling ones so that
when they need help, there are strong ones to help them.
Hearing from you would help me, why, I don't know.
God works in mysterious ways.

Grateful to be Alive Grateful to be alive and sober today. Wanted to thank you (?) whoever you are for sending me a birthday card!! Today is my 4th year clean, sober and alive. Without the fellowship of AA I could not have done it. Grateful most of all to this wide and wonderful fellowship for giving me my own conception of God as I understand him.
