Beyond Addction, How Science and Kindness Help People Change

If anyone is interested… we are studying a book related to the CRAFT approach – Community Reinforcement and Family Training

The book is called: Beyond Addiction: How Science and Kindness Help People Change – A Guide for Families by Jeffrey Foote PhD, Nicole Kosanke PhD, Carrie Wilkins PhD

Craft is backed by science, and has its roots in behavioral therapy

Craft is a motivation approach drawing its strengths from collaboration and kindness, rather than conflict and conflict.

Craft focuses on helping family members live better lives… it teaches us positive communication & positive reinforcement techniques, along with problem solving skills… Craft believes we can use these skills to help ourselves & help our loved ones.

Thank you for this post...this is something that I am looking for as I know how much kindness has to do with my feeling better and also with making me feel better when I am able to be kind to others.
