Jay is out of surgery, made it through with no complications, thank god. he is not awake yet so we still have yet to figure out how bad the speech issues are if there is any at all. thanks for the thoughts and prayers. further updates will be posted on the hen house thread in the substance abuse forum.

Thank you for the update, Kirby. It is very good news that all has been going so well. I will pray for his full recovery and that this op also sorts out his problem with sleeping

Thank you so much Kirby for all of the updates.

I went away for a few days, and the first thing that I did when I got home was to log in here to find out how Jay was doing.

Must say that my eyes teared up with tears of happiness.

Hey Jay, welcome back !!!!!!! So great to see you on here again. I really did miss seeing you here. You will be out of that hospital in no time at all. You are strong, you are a survivor, and you have a great sense of humor about things. So happy to see you posting again.

((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))

Thanks for good stuff all. I very thankful. Sound 5 year old, surgery cause "aphasia." No speech/write right for now, I know why want say, don't out right. Won't stop, sound stupid, still smart! One day normal again. Just want thank you being, help lots. Slow revival(?)--no think word-- but get there, no doubt. Sorry, I know, understand me hard.

You guys great! SR come through always.

So glad to read your post. You're in prayers to make a strong recovery.

Doesn't matter how you say things, it only matters what you are saying. You have a wonderful heart and spirit and that will always shine though. Stay strong!!
