You may want to post this in a recovery area. As for many of us, we know that if love could cure addiction, none of us would be here! It is hard to admit but we are powerless of anyone else.

There are several addicts in long time recovery who frequent this forum.

Based on their prior posts they tend to be grateful that their families gave them the dignity to fall and climb out of hell.
