Dear Teresa,

Just saw this and my heart just aches for you and for JJ. So upset for you. I know I would be temporarily insane for a bit after something like this. So glad you have the Posse to surround you with love and hugs and prayers. You'll find your balance and your center, and we'll all keep praying for you and JJ.

I feel as though our children somehow belong to all of us here on SR, so I'm sure I'm not the only one fighting back tears upon hearing this news.

Stay strong, mama. God is in this. He has to be. It's His job.

((Teresa)), continuing to say prayers for you and JJ. You've done everything you can do to show him that you love him. He knows it, but also knows your boundaries. I think he also knows that those boundaries are necessary to your sanity and survival. I hope that I will soon be reading a post from you saying that JJ has contacted you and that you are helping him get medical treatment.

SR Family, JJ is still on this earth. He sent a post at 11:00 today to his 15 year old sister, "I love you".
She said "I love you too, be safe"
He replied back "I will sweetie, you be good."

I am happy he reached out, though this sounds like a message of someone who is feeling good, meaning he is most likely high.

She sent him back a message saying "Please reach out when you are ready for help, your family is here for you".

I guess that is enough for today. Keep the prayers coming, this is the first time he has sent a facebook message to his baby sister since he left in May.
Just wanted to keep everyone abreast of JJ's status.

Glad to hear he got in touch...how sad it is that when we hear joy and calm in their voices, its a danger sign. What a topsy-turvy world we live in.

So happy to hear, though I know about the tangle of emotions when you realize when they sound "good" it's because they've medicated themselves. Glad to hear he reached out to his little sister. Siblings can be such a lifeline sometimes for our beloved addicted children. It is so in my son's life.

A blessing, it is a blessing to have heard from him.

Hope you can get some rest and feel some peace.

Mom hugs from me to you this evening!! You are on such a rollercoaster with this and my heart just goes out to you. I am also reminded of how strong the human spirit is....you are a great example of that.

Holding you and JJ in my thoughts. Truth be known I am a little bit more focused on you! I care and know that as a Mom....the stronger we are the more effective we can be.
