OT - Sorry, but I need more prayers
I have still not heard anything, so I'm taking this as a good sign. If I have not heard from aunt Phyllis by 7pm tonight, I am going to call her.
Thank you all - SR prayers and good thoughts are THE BEST!!
Hugs and prayers,
Amy

I just called aunt Phyllis. They are moving uncle Bob to a rehab facility (4 miles from their house) tomorrow. She broke down, a bit, and said it breaks her heart but the dr's said he needs more exercise to get stronger.
They've given him 2 more units of blood (total 4) and no idea where the bleeding is coming from. He's a "car guy" and just cracked up laughing when the nurse told him "you were a quart low"
My cousin (their youngest - my age) went to see him and uncle Bob knew who he was but kept calling him by another name. It broke my cousin's heart, but aunt Phyllis said "we have to accept it". She's exhausted, losing her voice and has said she will not spend as much time at the rehab facility as the hospital as she is confident they will take good care of him and she's just worn out.
I am convinced the man is part cat and has 9 lives. He was born a preemie, 95 years ago and his mom was told he wouldn't live. Guess he proved them wrong, huh? I know that it's just a matter of time, he has several severe health issues, but for today, I'm grateful he is alive, he was able to laugh, and very grateful for all of you.
