Rainy Day People

...the song by Gordon Lightfoot, an oldie but goodie. My husband recently bought the CD, which made me smile, since he usually chooses rock.

Listening to the song this morning made me think how the lyrics fit right in here at SR.

It's a good one to listen to when I'm down.

I love Gordon Lightfoot, he's had his struggles and also been one of "us", he survived and thrived...

My pleasure, I saw Gordon Lightfoot years ago in Toronto and his songs are just so pure and clear and simple, always a combination of good lyrics and lovely tune, and each one really touched my heart.

I think he is one of the most popular Canadian singer songwriters ever.
