So, my plans to get out of state and go stay with family has fallen through due to finances but I did do something that I am feeling pretty good about.
He came home from work today, high as hell, and I told him that either he stops or he needs to leave cause I, my children and his mother are not going to sit here and watch him get f'ed up until he feels he's ready to get help. And I must say right after saying that, I immediately felt more at ease. My stomach calmed down, I was smiling and playing with my babies more and I do believe I will sleep better tonight. I may not be able to leave but he sure can.
I just had to share, I'm feeling pretty proud of myself right now. He hasn't given me an answer yet but I did tell him that if he decides he's not ready to stop and get help, then he shouldn't even bother coming home tomorrow night after he gets off work. It felt AMAZING to get that out. And I will be hitting a meeting on Friday, without a doubt
