Wanted to share an excellent news segment on the prescription drug epidemic in MA

Kudos to Joanne Peterson for being such a huge advocate for parents in New England! She is the mother of an addict who has been instrumental in creating parent support groups, getting narcan into the hands of parents (thereby saving thousands of lives) and bringing opiate/heroin addiction out of the shadows. Just two days ago she met with Gil Karakowske, director Of the office of National Drug Control Policy, who reports directly to President Obama.
Her website, learn2cope.org, is a great resource for all parents dealing with an addicted child.
