Kinda feeling like that right now wicked!

Janet threw a great scripture my way not too long ago that I loved. I thought I'd saved it but can't find it. This is gonna be on my LIVING ROOM wall, so I want it to be meaningful to all who enter. Thanks guys.

I have a document of 18 pages of quotes that resonated with me over the past few years. As I ran across them, I always added them to my list. My goal was to start hand-painting them in a room in my house (a goal I have not accomplished!). I can't seem to stop finding quote after quote for you Callie. Here are some that I think might be short enough and perhaps meaningful to you, or at least to others reading this thread!

I personally like the serenity prayer. Growing up, it was all over my house as my father was a recovering alcoholic. My brothers and sister and i would roll our eyes at it and joke about it all of the time....making up new verses etc. About 3 years ago, I was having the toughest day. Crying, awfulizing...you name every bad codie trick in the book, I was doing it. Somebody here asked me if I tried saying it. I thought back to my treatment of it as a child...and thought, nah...this won't work. About an hour later...with things looking bleak, I thought what the heck...let me try. I felt immediate peace.

p.s. laughing my head off at the suggestions...reminds me of why I love this place! You guys are the best!

I'm thinking a fitting quote right now would be 'kill or be killed.' 'let go or be dragged'. I'll scare everyone off right from the get go if they think they want to come into my life!

"Let go or be dragged" is a good one!
I found this one on an AA site:

What about something from the 23rd Psalm? That always helps me when I'm stressed.
