havent posted in ages thought I would give an update!
Hello everyone. I havent post in a very long time and just thought I would stick my head in and say hello!
Lets see where to begin. Next Friday I graduate from my associate program, with honors!!!! Yeah for me!!!
I found a full time job that I love! Pay is great and I only have to work 4 days a week!!
Recently moved back in with my RABF. He has over a year of sobriety under his belt!
Still working on myself DAILY!!! That in itself is a full time job! I constantly have to check myself and keep from falling back into old codie habits. I have become an expert at enforcing boundaries....Lost a few people due to that very fact!
My kids are doing well and thriving in our new home. We rented a cute little house in the same city we lived before. Its great. New neighbors actually came over and introduced themselves. WOW!
I dont have any pearly words of wisdom. I just wanted to post an update.
Change has been very hard for me. But I did it. Still am doing it. Still struggle with my own issues.
Met a patient who was in his 80's and he said the most profound thing I think I have ever heard or maybe actually listened to. He said his father always used to tell him to NEVER worry about things that you have NO CONTROL over!
Wow if that didnt hit me in between the eyes. I try to tell myself that daily. It keeps me focused on the things I can control. Like myself, my emotions, my thoughts, my abilities and of course my reactions.
So all I am still here. I still read. I still take alot away from everyone still posting. Thanks for being here thanks for listening....
