Good Morning!
Good Morning!
Hi everyone,
I miss you all!
Not much new here.
Mr. Moose has already gone North, and has been at camp for 3 weeks now.
He went up early to get a handle on a beaver situation. It seems like the little critters really know how to build a dam.
So...since Mr. Moose is gone, I'm having a little man stay overnight tonight.........IT'S my grandson! (Sprout)
I've been watching him quite a bit, and he's a handful, AND a joy.
(but I am looking forward to going to camp...he he he)
Oldest son has some kind of a "maybe get out of jail" hearing on
May 17th. I'm planning on attending. Son is planning on going to a sober house, and once again sounds determined to stay sober. They also started him on an antidepressant, Zoloft, and it seems to have really helped him get a grip on his troubles, and responsibilities.
Prayers welcome.
Youngest son, still has that edginess I can't put my finger on. Maybe it's a "dry druggy" kind of personality. But him and GF of 5 years still together, and she just graduated from nursing school, and now has a full time job. He is planning on returning to college in September for a business degree.
Haven't been attending too many meetings, Sprouts momma works Saturday evenings, so I watch him, and that's the evening of my home group.
But I do find time to read, and pray.
Love you all........

(((Moose))) - SO glad to hear from you. Of course, you and all the moose-lets are in my prayers. Hope Mr. Moose gets a handle on the beavers, and don't forget about Ann's most favorite racoons
I'm glad you are getting to spend time with "sprout"..I know he is thriving in your care.
Hugs and prayers!

(((MOOSE)))
It's good to hear from you and I hope you will bring lots and lots of pictures of Sprout to camp this summer.
Both your boys sound like they are on better paths today, and we can't help but hope (and pray) that they stay there.
I hope Mr. Moose gets that "beaver situation" taken care of too, what with the killer raccoons, the vampire bats and now the axe-toothed beavers...we I may just have to bring more than my steel toed bunny slippers to deal with them. Perhaps a shrill whistle would help, or a bag of Zoo Poo (that keeps critters out of gardens because they think there is a lion there).
Can't wait to see you again, and Mr. Moose too.
Big hugs and lotsa love.

OH Moosie. What an adorable child. He looks happy, full of promise, you know?
I wish there was someone doing a video of Frank vs the Beavers. I get mental images of Bill Murray trying to outsmart the moles in the movie Caddy Shack.
Miss you, my friend.

He's beyond adorable, Moose! What a little cutie! But I can see the mischief in his eyes and smile...quite handful, I'm sure. Thanks for checking in - lot of good thoughts and prayers for you and yours.
thank you.
Yes, he is cute, with a dollop of rascality.
I do have pictures of the "beaver" situation.
Oh, and we have done the Caddyshack shenanigans in the past.
We have tried multiple hooey to deter them, inclding, but not limited to:
Loud music, recordings of dogs barking, bright lights.
Gary swears he saw one wearing a pair of his sunglasses, he lost in the canal.
And last year he dropped his regular glasses in too, so now they'll have no problem reading.
