Actually, as we speak I have an old friend staying on my couch for the weekend. I'm attempting to help him detox (heroin). Mostly we're just watching tv and he's getting antsy, so I'm trying to give him space. Needless to say I'm still part of the community! I'll be around.

first the boyfriend and now the friend..............seems that you have a need to help or a need to fix people.............which is what codependency looks like.

You said goodbye to the boyfriend which may save you some heartache however I believe maybe you could spend some time looking at yourself to see why it is your picking these people to be in your life..............
