OT - surgery scheduled
OT - surgery scheduled
Woke up this morning with lots of "generalized anxiety". Think it's related to the call yesterday from the doc and th rotator cuff repair scheduled now for Tuesday. And all of the other life/election/financial stuff too - but that is most pressing at the moment.
Would appreciate prayers and good thoughts so that I can be in a good place for what needs to be done.
Thanks!
Donna

Many hugs and prayers coming your way. You've had a lot to deal with lately, and I can totally understand the anxiety...I've been there, myself, lately.
I just keep reminding myself that HP has a plan. I also remind myself that HP's plans (in the past) haven't always made sense, but in hindsight I can see that it all worked out for the best.
Keep us posted, if you can.
Hugs and prayers!

You're going to be so good, you'll be washing windows in NO time! ha haha...
On a serious side, I'm sending prayers for your anxiety, and stress to go away, and your surgery to be a breeze.
Hugs....

Prayers and good thoughts headed your way.
I have to share that since fall of 2005 I have had 5 surgeries, gall bladder, left elbow, right elbow, right wrist and both knees.
Each one made my problems better. By about the second surgery I started realizing that instead of being anxious about it, I had to find a way to look forward to it and the aftermath. Yes, there would be pain for a bit, but there would be IMPROVEMENT.
Shoulder surgeries are hard, but after the inital surgery pain and you get into PT you can 'challenge' yourself each day to move it just a 1/2 inch more. You will be amazed at how quick it comes back.
I go back to the ortho Dr again next week. I am now facing two 'partial' replacements, one on each knee. I am hoping that with the PT I have been doing, as perscribed, that we can postpone it until after the first of the year, lol but Dr does have final say, so we will see what the new MRI shows if anything.
I have no doubt that you will 'sail' through this like the trooper that you are and I will keep the prayers and good thoughts headed to N Carolina.
Love and hugs,

Prayers and all the best. Think of it as a little pain to feel alot better. Been there! Had a plate and screws... many of them put in my arm last year this time... fell off a horse and broke the bone between elbow and shoulder... ouch!!!! The surgery was the best thing that ever happened... no pain in a short time. You will be fine!!!! HUGS!

Anxiety is a normal thing for what your going to have done. I have been through a few myself and have one to go also. Your doing great and have many prayers being said for you from here alone including mine. Best of luck and you will be up in no time recovering.:bounce
