I have been cleaning the bathroom that my AD was sharing with her younger brother. I noticed over time sort of a carmel color staining coming from the ceiling. The paint color is the color of sand.

This shower really puts alot of steam in the room so I just assumed it was from the paint color.

Today I thought I would try to clean it so maybe I would not have to paint.

Mr. Clean doing a great job, then my tongue starts to go numb. Now I am womdering if my AD and BF had smoked something in there. It has been there for a long time so nothing she is doing at least here recently.

I know what pot smells like, I am now wondering about what smoke from herion might smell like. And if it would put some residue on a celing that could drip down from the shower steam.

There DOC was OXY but I would imagine that any opiate would do.

I think I got it all washed off, but hoping its not like cleaning up meth as far as my own health.

Every where you turn with this disease, it seems like it is still around me.

But getting my life back is the best part.

Any information would be helpful.

I had a house once that had that stuff on the ceiling over the stove and some on the wall, I was told it was from cooking meth, but I can't see that anyone would cook it in a bathroom. Who knows any more.

It just might be better not to even know.

Yes I agree. Don't worry about it just be glad its gone.

The reason I was concerned was that my mouth started to feel tingly and numb. Got all the windows open, sprayed lots of bleach and went and sat outside for a while.

My son and I have decided to redo the whole bathroom to his liking now.

The fact is that it has taken me till now to even step into the spaces that she and her BF stayed to detox and for her to get strong again.
So it is with an open sprit to a calmer better life for me and my husband and son that I am doing this purging of the past.

I am taking care of me, hence the concern about what I may have inhaled.
