Just checking in to let you all know I'm still alive. Um. . .my exAGF has been working at a new job for 2 weeks (with her mom) who has informed me that her daughter is again working towards sobriety. It's been almost a month, she's been clean. . .of course, I'm happy to hear it but still conscious of how easily she falls off the wagon. She and I don't talk often but we're maintaining a friendship and respecting each others boundaries.

I'm still waiting to hear about the job prospective I hoped to open for me in Houston as a data entry specialist. I've been assured that it's still going to happen but I'm growing impatient. It's been over a month! LOL

I'm still drinking though I've cut back; I can't manage to go cold turkey and I'm just trying to take it a day at a time. I suppose I do have a problem with alcohol and I'm working on making may way out of it. Bear with me!

Oh, and my ex-boyfriend and I are talking again as friends, of course. He starts grad school in a couple of weeks at Cornell University. He's been a real support to me this past month with my drinking and even knowing about the relationship with my exAGF. He shocked me by just being a real good listener and really open-minded. He's a good guy.
